  1. How do I view my account information and manage my accountonline?

In order to view your account information and make paymentsonline, you must enroll by entering your patient account accountnumber, social security number, e-mail address and a passwordon the enrollment page. This information will ensure that onlyyou can securelyaccess your account information. Once enrolled, you willreceive an e-mail notification whenever there is a change toyour account.



  2. Can another family member access my online account?

A family member can only access your account if youprovide that person with your patient account number, socialsecurity number and password. If two family members areresponsible for payment of accounts, then each person willhave a different account number and be required toenroll separately.



  3. Can I still receive my paper statements if I enroll foronline account management?

Yes. During theenrollment process, you will be asked if you would like toreceive your statements online only, or continue receivingyour statements through the mail. At any time, you may goto your patient profile in the 'My Account' section tochange your preference.



  4. Why is my e-mail address needed?

We collect your e-mail address so we can notify you whenthere is activity in your account, such as insurancepayments received, balance now due from you, or if forsome reason one of your accounts has become past due.



  5. Can I contact the Patient Accounting office throughe-mail?

Yes, you may e-mail our office 24 hours a day, seven daysa week with questions at patient.billing@lvh.org . Please be patient for yourresponse. We will personally reply to your message duringnormal business office hours.



  6. Besides viewing my account and paying my bill online,what other resources are available from the site?

In addition to managing and paying your account online,the hospital has included many helpfulresources online to help you understand and manage thehealthcare billing process. With the online account manageryou can:
  7. Do I need to enroll in order to use these other resources?

No, you only need to enroll if you would like access to'My Account' information, including making payments,trackinginsurance, receiving e-mail notifications when there is achange to your account, etc. The other resources areavailable to you 24 hours a day, regardless of yourenrollment.



  8. Will I be able to combine several open accounts for mydifferent visits and pay them at once?

Yes, as long as the accounts are within the same hospital,and are open, you will be able to view the billinginformation for each visit and pay with one click. If youhave open accounts across more than one hospital, you willneed to make separate payments.



  9. Will I be able to view and pay my physician bills fromthe site?

No, only your hospital bills will be available from thesite.



  10. Do I need to establish an electronic payment method tobe eligible for the online account manager?

No. When it comes time to pay your bill, you will have theoption to either establish an electronic payment method orprint a payment stub out on your home printer.



  11. What specific type of electronic payment method can Iuse?

You can make payment electronically, via credit card ordebit card.



  12. Can I print a payment stub and send it in with mypayment instead of paying electronically?

Yes. You have the option of printing a payment stub withall of your openaccounts and sending that in with your check to thehospital. Just click the 'Print Payment Stub' option on the'Make Payment' page.
